We are having market day to fundraise for a trip out of school.

Maori

 At school me and my twin have been learning Maori we learnt how to count in Maori and we learnt colours in Maori  we had puzzles that had Maori words on the puzzles it so had pictures .

Tings that you would do to stay healthy

1.Go out side and play with the basketball or you can do yoga. 2. You can play board game with you re famley. 3. You can do some art. 4 You can go for a walk is long you are staying away frome other people just to keep yourself safe. 5. You can tech yourself some nuw tricks. 6.Or you can make something cool. 7. You could tech your dog some tricks. 8. you can make a fort. 9. you can have a movie night with your famley.

On lock dowun me and my twin sister lina we watched a move cold it is all about him and we so watched another move cold forrest gump and i so catch up with my friends on the call to see what they have bin up to on the lock down and i so bin going outside and getting some fresh air and playing catch with the basketball and playing with my cats and watching tik tok and watching you Tube and learning nuw stuf and helping my Brother clean up the house and play games on the ps4 and so bin making a play house and doing some drawing and talking with my family on the call like cousins and auties.

1. What is the problem in the stoy? Tu wid not listen to mum. 2. How come tu the dog doesnt listen to mum? because tu only understand when you talking to him in Maori. 3. What did mum and the boy need to do when they got home from the animal shelter? Mum looked for a website to learn how to talk in maori. 4. What did Nikau do to help the family with tu? He brain home his friend to help the family out whith talking in maori so he tried to talk in maori to the dog.

Year 7&8 students shold be allowed to have phones at school.

 Year 7 and 8 shod have phones at school because just in cas of a in emergency  or if a stranger cams to you and or if you need to call your mum and dad or if someone is hurt you can call the ambulance or if a strang cames and taullk to you  and ausk to came and get in the car you can get yor phones and vio it .

cats are more betr then a dogs

 Because they don't bark lard  and so cats are cute when they sleep and there always happy and day so fun to play with  and they are so flufy and you so dont have to pot a leesh on theim     and they dont  biet and day dount run on the rod  dar so flufy.

cake is better than ice cream

 Cake is better because it has more taste in it, the chocolate is very creamy and yum.

 this   week in class we have bin doing  music we have bin listening to same music from the olden days like the 1970s  because music back in that day it is different to the music that we got now back way in olden day they had  greay tv .

Magnets

 I lrirint that magnets can stick on frdge  and it can stik  on witbords  on the magets have difrint pichis  and on the botim of the magnets ti has  black.

I learned that magnets can stick on fridges and it can stick on whiteboards. On the magnets have different pictures and on the bottom of the magnets it has a black thing. 

In our house...we can stick it on the fridges and bords  enthingk .

Te hora my marae

 At school we did a cultural project in Wananga.

I chose my marae Te Hora because my marae felt like a home and I miss it alot.

I put clouds and sun, then I drawed my marae and then I put the New Zealand flag.

My marae is in Blenheim.

At my marae we play tag, we do activities and I play with all of my nieces and nephews and family. When it is hot we go to a river near the marae and go swimming. 

There is lots of yummy food at the marae.

Shape

 

In maths we are learning about different 3d shapes at school. We like sphere and cone  and we used  blocks to make these.

The purpose to build the shapes was to learn about the surface area (face), edges and vertices (corners).  The shapes allowed me to visually count these areas.  

school lunches

 1 bceas she is  famley awt if the mums dot have that much tim  to giv kits same food.                                     2  bcesa ther not much students  do get the food athre pouplo  dot get stuf  like froot .                                      3  Yes I do think other schools should have free lunch's because some kids may have forgotten to have breakfast.  .                                                               

I am liking the school lunches because  I have something to eat.  I have enjoyed the sanwhich's, cake and fruit.  

rainbow paper

 To day at school in science we did a rainbow paper. We used same colours and we used same red and purple and draw a big dot and put it in water. After 10 minutes later we went back to the paper and the water was red and purple! We saw it mix together but then we had to blog about it like right now! 

Skittless

 Chromotography is a technique for the  separation of a mixture by passing it in solution or suspension

    through a medium in which the components move at different areas.

Aim: To separate the colours from the skittles by using chromatography.

Materials: 1. Skittels

                 2. Petri dish

                 3. water

Method:

1. Place skittle around the edge of the Petri dish.

2. Carefully put water into the middle of the dish.

3. Watch to see which colours reach the middle first.

Frlends

 At school we have been reading in class the book called Friends. 

In the story  the two girls were the hero's. 

One of the girls couldn't play as she had a broken arm, and the other two girls asked her to come and play.

They were really good at playing the clapping game.

The other week Harmony was feeling sad and she was feeling angry so I talked with here and played a game with her.  She felt a little bit happier.
